My dear uncle. He was a gentleman, a man with a big heart, jovial, kind but was a disciplinarian. As a young girl I want to go party and having no big brother, my uncle would take me. He was so much fun. When i got my second daughter, while i was in hospital, he would ensure he brought my breakfast and lunch before going to work at the time he used to drive mini bus. When i was discharged i stayed there for one month before going home and man look as soon as baby make ‘qweh’ in the night he waking up my aunt to check and see what happen to baby. The last time i saw him he was home in Guyana and he knew i love my beers and he sure didnt fail to buy me some. We spoke joke didnt know that would have been my last conversation with him.. I have never seen him vex and i always told my aunt that i would like to have a husband like him, a relationship like theirs,. to my aunt Sherrie, cousins michelle, rhonda, racquel, troy, tandy, ryan and keon be strong. God is your rock. Sleep in peace uncle Lawrence.

One of my fondest memories from childhood is watching my cousin Lawrence ride his motorcycle. Like most kids, I always asked him for a ride, and sometimes, he said yes. Those moments stayed with me, not just for the excitement, but because they reflected who Lawrence was: calm, thoughtful, and steady.
I also remember weekends when his motorcycle would be taken completely apart and laid out on a blanket in the yard on a Saturday morning. Every piece carefully placed. And by Sunday afternoon, somehow, it was back together and running again. Even as a kid, I could see that Lawrence approached things with patience and care.
That’s how he lived his life. He wasn’t the biggest voice in the room, just the steady one that everyone knew they could count on. A good father, a good family man, and someone you could look up to simply by watching how he lived.
Rest easy, Lawrence.
Thank you for the rides, the lessons, and the example you set.
You will always be remembered

In loving memory of my brother Lawrence, you were such a kind and loving big brother. Thank you for taking good care of us. Growing up as a kid you help us in so many ways by cooking, taking us to school banquets and during the Easter holidays you would design and make beautiful kits for us to fly, giving us rids on your motorcycle #8101. I remember as a kid your love of Christmas and all the excitement surrounding the holidays you would go into the bush cut a suitable small tree and take all the leaves off the branches and mom would wrap the branches with green crepe paper and you would set it up, that was our Christmas tree. These are some of the memories I will never forget. Even though we are apart, your spirit live within us forever in our hearts. We love you and miss you brother.

In loving memoey of my brother-in-law lawrence
you weren´t just my brother-in-law .......PLAIN AND SIMPLE,
YOU MADE SPACE FOR ME IN THE FAMILY WITHOUT HESITATION,
YOU LOOKED OUT FOR ME, YOU TEASED ME LIKE A SIBLING WOULD,
BUT YOU ALWAYS HAD MY BACK,
WE LAUGHED, DEBATED, CELEBRATED.......... TOGETHER,
YOU WERE EASY TO TALK TO AND EVEN EASIER TO TRUST,
NOW THAT YOU ARE GONE, I FEEL THE ABSENCE OF MORE THAN JUST A FAMILY MEMBER.
YOU WERE THE NORTH STAR IN YOUR FAMILY LIFE, GUIDING THEM THROUGH TROUBLE AND STRIFE.
NOW YOU ARE GONE, AND LEFT THEM IN THE DARK, BUT YOUR LIGHT STAYS IN OUR HEARTS.
lOTS OF LOVE MARVA.

In Loving Memory of My Uncle Lawrence
Some people leave a mark not by being loud, but by being constant. My uncle was one of those people. He showed his love in everyday ways through his presence, his reliability, and the quiet care he gave to those around him.
He was someone you could count on, someone who listened, someone who made life feel a little steadier just by being near. The space he leaves behind can never truly be filled, but it’s also filled with memories, lessons, and love that will stay with us always.
We grieve him deeply, but we’re grateful toO,, grateful for the time we had, the moments we shared, and the bond that death cannot break. His spirit lives on in our hearts and in the family he helped shape. Rest easy, Uncle. You will always be remembered.

Mr Miller was known to me as Lawrence lovingly called by his wife teacher joy.
Not a frequent visitor to the ho.me,, but walking home from church on Sabbath mid day we had many laughter of which Mr Miller name would be a part.
Never saw him angry or upset, A husband and father second to none.
You ran your race, now take your rest.
We sure will watch out for teacher joy.

I will like to pay tribute to Mr Lawrence known to us as LA. LA was our neighbor who took care of us in the absence of our parents, he drove us to school as if its was his responsibility we never paid a single dollar and he never asked. He had the biggest heart. Our families lived like blood relatives and we love each other dearly. I can’t remember ever seeing la angry , always pleasant. Two fun things I’ll like to mention.
1 I enjoyed the many times he would pass over goodies over the fence be it Miss joy’s freshly baked bread, five fingers or mangoes and even plates of food. Many days we were blessed to have lunch twice one at our home wide our lips and over the fence we go for our 2nd plate.
2. WhenLA wanted to call me he could never remember which one of the C is my name so he called out from top to bottom
Cathy, no Cheryl no Clair no Candist no Carlotta no coleeeeeen man coleeeeeen.
My last memory of la was one of him dancing atwisrock linkup when we had so much fun. I play that that video occasionally and smile . La thank you for your many gifts of love. May your soul rest in peace.
